I went to The Comic Book Store recently with mine son. My experience was far from great. I went on a Friday night to get some Pokemon cards and some board games. The place was jam packed with people and the smell wasn't too pleasant. The 2 employees that were working were very foul mouthed and ignorant. I'm not sure if there were talking to other customers, or just regulars. The people that were playing games were cursing and throwing cards across the room, and one of them hit my son. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. I've steered my friends and family away from this establishment to save them the headache or frustration that may occur.
Good service and friendly staff, with ample parking and a decent location
As far as I am concerned this is the ONLY comic book and gaming store in south jersey. Every other place closes shop within a couple of years but the CBS is still going strong. This is bc the owner Alex cares about comic books, games, and most importantly his customers. The environment is friendly and helpful, inclusive of everyone, and they carry literally pretty much everything: MTG singles (yes including alphabetized common and uncommons!) and boxes, graded comics, new issues, back issues, D&D, graphic novels, board games. EVERYTHING. You won't disappointed if you visit this store.
It's a good comic store right by campus and offers up gaming too. Decent back stock selection and good collectibles selection too. Check them out, definitely worth your time.
Comic Book Store has the biggest selection, best prices, and phenomenal customer service. The store is split into two parts one side is board games and comics and the other is for Trading Card Games such as Magic and Dragonball Z. The employees are knowledge and truly care about their customers. Whether you need the next issue of your favorite comic, or the final card to complete your deck; the Comic Book Store of Glassboro is the only place to go
